The selected images that are shown here are example of sketches that I do in preparation for creating a set on a Film or TV project. It’s all about the story;how to represent the scene to it’s fullest potential; how to create maximum impact for the scene from a comedy moment set in a New Orleans hotel room to a frightening dungeon that sets the scene for a dramatic discovery.After discussion with the Director and reviewing sketches I create a working model in card or a 3-D computerized version to help advance my ideas. When all approvals are reached I set about selecting set colors and working closely with the Set Decorator.
